South Dakota Mule Deer - Archery Mule Deer Hunts! We are FULL for the 2012 Season!
Northern Plains Outfitters is proud to offer, for the first time for the 2012 Hunting Season, Archery Mule Deer Hunts!
We are offering 6 Archery Mule Deer Hunts in Northwestern South Dakota for the 2012 Season. We allowed 2 Rifle Hunts during the 2010 Season to, "test the waters" and were amazed at the potential that this 10,000 acre ranch provides. The buck directly below grossed 180" while the other grossed 155". This is an Archery Only Hunt that consists of 5 Days of Hunting, 6 Nights of Lodging and includes Guides, Food, Field Transportation, Archery License, Field Dressing, etc. You will be hunting in Harding County, 20 miles east of Buffalo, SD. The land consists of gently rolling hills and prairies, wooded draws, and badlands.
To preserve the Quality Bucks on this property, this is a Treestand/Ground Blind Hunt, with minimal Spot/Stalk. This is strictly a "Trophy Only" Archery Hunt with a minimum of 150" and bigger. The cost of this hunt is $2,695.
Archery Mule Deer Season, Dates & License Info
Season: Our Archery season typically runs from the last weekend in September through the 2nd weekend in November.
License: The license is a Lottery Draw, but as a Non-Resident, you are guaranteed to receive the license if you apply. The cost of the license is $285 for the 2012 season. Licenses can be applied for at the South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks website, www.sdgfp.info.
